HELP!!!
I have a Pocketwifi E 585 (came originally with a 3 SIM card), got it unlocked and have used it in the past with another provider as well as the 3 SIM card and it worked very well. I then didn't use the device for at least 6 months and now wanted to start using it again with an Amaysim SIM (the one that worked in the past). Although the network shows on the Pocketwifi and I have credit on the SIM card and the wireless connection works (I can use the printer via wifi using this device), I cannot connect to the internet. I suspect it might have to do something with having to change the profile (different APN) and I know theoretically how to do this, but the BIG problem is that the Pocketwifi doesn't let me access the settings page. I have tried typing http://pocket.wifi/ in the URL when connected wirelessly, I have tried the same while being connected by USB cable and it always tells me I'm not connected to the internet. I've tried doing the same while I'm connected to the internet tethering my mobile (with another SIM card in the mobile) and although I can easily connect to the internet that way, it still doesn't let me access the pocket.wifi server. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????

I hope somebody can help!!!

I just bought an iPad 2 WiFi (no 3G) and am trying to use it online. However, even sitting right next to my laptop that has a Verizon modem (that plugs into a USB port), and with the computer on line via that modem, the Pad isn't having anything to do with it, keeps saying I need a connection. In other words, the Pad is plugged into my computer via a USB port, and the wireless modem is also working of a USB port. I've turned on the wireless sync options in iTunes, and on the Pad, the WiFi feature is also 'on.' Any ideas?? Not feeling the love for my new gadget at present...Kim

Okay, this is probably an incredibly stupid question, but say we were going camping and we were in the middle of nowhere and we needed a connection. Would using a wifi thing (I really don't know anything about this) such as Apple AirPort work there?
